BALCLUTHA ROUND TABLE NO 17 INCORPORATED is identified as the responsible publishing entity for Project Seventeen on Android. This policy applies only to the installed Project Seventeen application. It does not govern a venue, community partner, event, external website, email service or any separate organisational record. Effective date: 8 August 2026.
Project Seventeen is an adult community-project preparation guide for members, prospective members, adult volunteers and adult community partners. It is not directed to children. Where a real project may benefit or be visible to children, authorised adults and the relevant partner remain responsible for consent, supervision, safeguarding and contact boundaries.
The app provides offline educational material about listening, scope, partner roles, readiness, project-day flow, handover, reflection, historical case files, skill lenses and source notes. Fixed project-pattern, preparation-ticket and readiness choices help a user organise questions. The app is not a live calendar, membership application, donation service, volunteer roster, site inspection, incident system or official operating manual.
The app does not collect or transmit personal data to the publisher or any third party. It does not request names, email addresses, phone numbers, account credentials, donor information, beneficiary details, family circumstances, membership information, attendance, free text, photos, audio, contacts, precise location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, health data or financial information.
The app may store only small preset identifiers in Android app-private preferences: one selected project pattern, selected preparation-ticket identifiers, selected readiness-lock identifiers and the reduced-motion preference. These choices remain on the device, are not scored and are not linked to a person or project record. Screen position may be held temporarily while the app is open.
Project Seventeen has no free-text field and is not designed to hold sensitive records. Do not use screenshots or device notes to create parallel records about children, beneficiaries, donors, members, incidents, health, finances or safeguarding matters. Real sensitive information must remain in the authorised process of the responsible organisation or professional.
The app requests no Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, notification, storage, phone, SMS, nearby-device, health or other dangerous Android permission. Normal operating-system capabilities required to draw the interface and save private preferences are used locally. The final release binary should be checked again if the app changes.
The app has no account, login, profile or server identity. Account deletion is therefore not applicable. A user can remove local choices with Reset inside the app, Android Clear storage or uninstall. None of these actions contacts or alters any separate organisational record.
The app contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, behavioural tracking, telemetry, remote crash-reporting SDK, social SDK or targeted promotion. It does not create an advertising profile, measure engagement for marketing or rank volunteers by use.
Because the app does not transmit personal data, it does not sell, rent or share app-held personal data. No backend processor receives the fixed local choices. Real projects may involve independent organisations, venues or suppliers, but the app neither sends information to them nor controls their separate privacy practices.
All app content is bundled with the installation and works without a network connection. Source addresses are displayed as reference text and are not fetched by the app. The app does not send email, submit forms, upload files, open a payment flow or initiate contact with a partner. Any later network or contact feature would require a new behaviour and policy review.
Preset choices remain in app-private preferences until the user changes or resets them, clears app storage or uninstalls the app. The publisher receives no copy and therefore has no app-server retention period. Temporary interface state ends when the process is closed unless Android restores a non-sensitive screen identifier.
Reset removes the selected project pattern, preparation tickets and readiness locks. Android Clear storage or uninstall removes all app-held state. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for this app, so its private preferences are not intentionally copied through those Android mechanisms. Device-level backups outside the app's control may follow the device owner's settings.
Local choices use Android app-private storage and the app minimises risk by avoiding personal data, accounts, network transfer and third-party runtime SDKs. No device can be guaranteed absolutely secure. Users should protect device access and avoid capturing sensitive real-world information in screenshots or unrelated apps.
The app is intended for adults and does not provide child profiles, youth messaging, attendance, photos, location sharing or direct adult-child contact. If a real project involves children or families, authorised adults must use the current safeguarding, consent, supervision, privacy and reporting procedures of the responsible partner. The app does not assess or replace those procedures.
Project Seventeen offers general preparation prompts only. It does not certify people, tools, food handling, structures, traffic plans, accessibility, safeguarding, insurance, venue suitability or emergency arrangements. Follow current law, venue rules, partner instructions and qualified advice. Stop work and contact the appropriate responsible person or emergency service when conditions are unsafe or urgent.
A material change to collection, permissions, networking, SDKs, accounts, contact or storage requires an updated app, policy and Play declaration review. The effective date will be revised when the policy changes. Users may choose not to save presets, may use Reset at any time and may stop using or uninstall the app.
